Syria: Four Terrorist Commanders Killed in Reef Idlib

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The army units killed Mohammad Bakhouri nicknamed Abu Al-Motasem, commander of Al-Towhid Battalion terrorist group in Banesh region in Reef Idlib. The Syrian army also killed two other terrorist commanders named Abd Al-Baset Hamoush Bin Mostafa and Saif Al-Din Al-Qadour Bin Jamil in the same region.Qatibeh Abdo Al-Zin, commander of the so-called Ansar Al-Islam Battalion in Banesh region, was also killed in fierce clashes with Syrian army near Al-Fooheh and Kafria towns in North of Idlib city.Earlier today, the Syrian army killed a notorious armed rebel commander in Reef Damascus.Hussein Al-Namiri nicknamed Abu Masab, commander of the so-called ‘Ahfad Al-Rasoul in Reef Damascus and Al-Qonaitarah’, was killed during a Syrian army attack on a Druzi-populated village in Jabal Al-Sheikh region in Reef Damascus.The Ahfad al-Rasoul is one of the rebel groups fighting against the government in Syria. It is one of the few brigade alliances that operate independent of the Free Syrian Army, the Syrian Liberation Front, or the Syrian Islamic Front and is considered the largest one, with about 15,000 fighters. It has been funded by the Qatari government.Qatar along with Saudi Arabia has played an important role in funding the armed rebel and terrorist groups in Syria.In October, informed sources revealed that Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid bin Mohammad al-Attiyah had taken a secret trip to Turkey to meet the Free Syrian Army (FSA) Commander Salim Idris."Al-Attiyah’s visit has taken place in line with the efforts made by Qatar to coordinate and unite the Syrian opposition forces, which include armed rebels and terrorist groups," an informed Arab media source, who asked for anonymity, told FNA."The Qatari foreign minister is trying to resolve the differences between the Free Syrian Army and 13 of its units in the Northwestern city of Aleppo, which have recently defected from the FSA," he added./149
